Wind Dam / Chetwood Associates

Chetwoods are proposing a unique “wind dam” on Lake Ladoga in northwestern Russia near St Petersburg. Shaped like a spinnaker sail not unlike the mainsail of a yacht, the dam will generate renewable energy by funnelling the wind through an attached turbine.
