The wall is made by Perceptive Pixel and its price starts at a whopping $100,000. Perceptive Pixel is a spinoff company founded by Jeff Han, a research scientist at NYU’s Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences who was one of the main developers of a touchscreen interface that allows for multi-point, multi-user interactions.

Brainloop is an interactive performance platform that uses a brain-computer interface system which allows a subject to operate devices merely by imagining specific motor commands. The subject is able to navigate virtually through Google Earth without physically moving. Biology and technology are coming ever closer together in a manner previously only thought possible in the realm of science fiction.

Julian Beever is an English chalk artist who creates trompe-l’oeil (French for “trick the eye”) chalk drawings on pavement surfaces. He uses anamorphosis in his work, which is a distorted projection that creates a three-dimensional illusion when the viewer occupies a certain vantage point.
